Dr. Ali Dhiaa Marza Alhashimi

LEC. Ali Dhiaa Marza Alhashimi was born on the 4th July 1969 in Babylon, Iraq. He finished his secondary school education in Baccalaureate, Al-Hila School, Babylon in 1987.  He completed his bachelor in Veterinary Medicine and Surgery in the year 1993 at the University of Baghdad, Faculty of Veterinary Medicine. His working experience started at the Teaching Veterinary Hospital situated in the ministry Agriculture in Baghdad for 1 year as a trainee. Ali Dhiaa Marza during the period between 1995-2001 was an active participant in several practical programs both local and international. He gained a contract employment at the Veterinary Hospital, Ministry of Agriculture, Iraq and served from 2002-2006. He completed his High Diploma in veterinary medicine/veterinary public health in University of Baghdad, Faculty of Veterinary Medicine in 2006.  He left the Ministry of Iraqi Agriculture and got re-appointed at the Iraqi Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research, University of Babylon, Faculty of Veterinary Medicine 2007. He completed his Master science in Veterinary Medicine/Internal Medicine from the University of Baghdad, Faculty of Veterinary Medicine in 2011. He gained a scholarship from Iraqi Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research and gained entry to pursue a Doctor of Philosophy in the field of the Ruminant Medicine, Department of Veterinary Clinical Studies, Faculty of Veterinary Medicine, Universiti Putra Malaysia (UPM) in 2014. His research project involves shedding light on the involvement of the nervous system during the disease course of HS. His project is funded by Ministry of Higher Education, Grant No.(5524417). Ali Dhiaa Marza published 15 articles in journals during his study. He also attended conference proceedings on the 7th and 8th Malaysian Association of Veterinary Pathology (MAVP) scientific conferences in 2015 held at Melaka and 2016 held at Johor respectively. He is happily married and blessed with four children.
