He has 13 years’ research, extension and 5 years of teaching experience dedicated towards Animal Health, Diagnostics of large animal. He has worked as ARS Scientist in the Division of Medicine, IVRI since 2007 to 2012. At present he is working as Senior Scientist, Veterinary Medicine, ICAR RCER, Patna. He started his professional education in 1995 from College of Veterinary Sciences, Mathura under CSAUA&T, Kanpur and passed out with University Medal. Then, he did his MVSc. and PhD. from the Deemed University Indian Veterinary Research Institute, Izatnagar, Bareilly in the year 2003 and 2006, respectively.
He was awarded Dr C M Singh Gold Medal for his PhD degree. He worked on development of area specific mineral mixture for Uttar Pradesh and Bihar in his PG and PhD program. He has taught PG and PhD course at IVRI and supervised MVSc and PhD students. His innovative research has resulted in more than 58 research publications in journals of international and national repute, besides many review articles, popular articles, epublications, folders, manuals, training compendium and book. He has handled various research projects on bovine and caprine on diverse areas of animal health including mastitis, viral diseases, haemoprotozoan diseases, heavy metal toxicity and socio-development projects.
He has been serving as reviewer for various international and national journals including Small ruminant research, Indian Journal of Animal Sciences, Indian Journal of Animal Research, The Indian Veterinary Journal, International Journal of livestock Research, etc. He has attended and presented research papers in various national and international conferences. He has been bestowed with many recognition and awards by different societies like National Academy of Agricultural Sciences, Indian Society for Veterinary Medicine, Society for Community Mobilization, Society for Animal Welfare, etc. like Best Presentation Award, Appreciation Award, Young Professional Award, Young Scientist, Best Scientist Award, Bharat Jyoti Award, Best Poster Awards, etc. He has organized many training programs sponsored by various Agencies for farmers and Scientist as course director and course coordinator. He has delivered several lectures in the training programs and attended phone in live programs of DD Bihar and Radio talks.
