Now days, ultrasonography is one of the most promising technique to assess pregnancy and related events in canines. It has wide range of application such as diagnosis of pregnancy, assessment of fetal livability, evaluation of gestation age, identification of fetal sex, estimation of litter size, variables of fetal development, prediction of whelping. Accuracy and results of technique depends on way of handling, experience and proper time of imaging.
