The declining trend in number of animals brought to fairs was observed in all types of species of animals except horses, where it was increasing. A similar trend was observed also found in transactions of animals in fairs in all types of species of animals except buffalo, horses and goat. The percentage of transactions to arrivals in cattle fairs have improved in camel and goat only during period. The growth was negative for both the arrivals and transaction of animals in Rajasthan, it was more pronounced in transaction (-3.03%) than arrivals (-2.85%) of animals in cattle fairs.
