Sub acute toxicity study of the culture filtrate of P.citrinum isolated from fungal contaminated, common meadow grass (Poa paratensis) was carried out in rats. This grass was being used as a livestock forage crop in many parts of the country especially in semi arid regions and was suspected to be responsible for many livestock ailments.
