He is currently working as a Principal Scientist in Division of Dairy Extension Division, ICAR-National Dairy Research Institute, Karnal-132001, Haryana, India since March, 2008. He post graduated (M.Sc.) in Dairy Extension Education) with first class division from ICAR-National Dairy Research Institute (Deemed University), Karnal-132001. He has qualified ARS examination in 1998 and Joined as scientist at Indian Grassland & Fodder Research Institute, Jhansi. He did his Ph.D. from R. B. S. College, Bichpuri (Dr.Bhim Rao Ambedkar, University Agra, in the discipline of Agril Extension.
His research expertise is on Animal Feeding, Fodder production, Livestock management, Action research Participatory research, Impact studies in behavioural sciences, etc.
He is engaged in teaching of postgraduate students of Agricultural Extension Education discipline since 2008 and has guided six PhD and seven M.V.Sc. students as major guide. He is the author of 7 books and edited more than 10 Technical manuals.
He has published 96 research papers of national and international repute, and several 61 technical articles, popular articles and 89Abstracts in different Seminars/ symposiums/ conference. He has attended 32 National and International Training/ Seminar/ Conference/ Symposium/ Workshop and presented oral and poster. Successful completion of six research projects as Principal investigator and 21 Co-Principal Investigator.
He is recipient of young scientist award-2005, of Fellow Award of two society (RMSI Fellow award-2012, SEE Fellow Award-2018), six Best Paper presentation awards, and several Reviewer excellence award, Editorial Excellence Award, etc. along with several other awards of national repute. He is running Farmers Farm School, since 2014 (one year programme on scientific dairy farming for Farmers) and received appreciation letters.
He is the reviewer of four reputed and esteemed journals; He has affiliated with 10 National Professional Associations and societies.
